I was looking for something different and I think I found it!!

i only had 1/2 the honey so i subbed the rest with a good maple syrup…
i also added chopped peppers and took fresh mint and rosemary (chopped finely)
placed the peppers and herb over the layered chicken…….and half way through the baking process squeezed a lime over the chicken and then let continue cooking…at meal time it was served with rice and small corn muffins.
i was impressed with the outcome…………..rather hawaiian i must say.

Hi Sonia,
What about ground cumin or paprika? Take also a look above on Edd’s comment. He used rosemary - which is a herb that goes very well with chicken, so it could also be an alternative. But if you don’t like any of these ingredients, I would say just prepare the recipe without the curry.
Have fun trying new things and tell us the result.
Greetings

Made it with Dijon mustard and paprika. Tasted great. Even my 4 yr old daughter liked it.
