I was looking for something different and I think I found it!!

  3. edd says:

i only had 1/2 the honey so i subbed the rest with a good maple syrup…
i also added chopped peppers and took fresh mint and rosemary (chopped finely)
placed the peppers and herb over the layered chicken…….and half way through the baking process squeezed a lime over the chicken and then let continue cooking…at meal time it was served with rice and small corn muffins.
i was impressed with the outcome…………..rather hawaiian i must say.

What can we substitute the urry powder for….?Curry powder not a favourite in my house…Please advice….

  10. welovechicken says:

    Hi Sonia,

What about ground cumin or paprika? Take also a look above on Edd”s comment. He used rosemary – which is a herb that goes very well with chicken, so it could also be an alternative. But if you don”t like any of these ingredients, I would say just prepare the recipe without the curry.

Have fun trying new things and tell us the result.

    Greetings

I made this recipe with golden syrup instead of honey as I had no honey and used powdered mustard and it turned out just delicious! Thank you so much for this recipe cause I know it will impress anyone I cook it for in the future
