Grill Chicken with Havana Sauce

 

Serving Size: 8

Ingredients:
8 boneless and skinless chicken breasts halves
Salt and ground pepper to taste
Lime juice to taste

Sauce:
1 pound plum tomatoes, chopped
4 tablespoons olive oil
3 tablespoons white wine
2 teaspoons white vinegar
3 green onions, chopped
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 teaspoons cilantro, minced
Salt and pepper to taste

    Directions:

    1. In a large bowl combine all the ingredients for the sauce; season to taste with salt and pepper. Mix well, cover and refrigerate overnight.
    2. Heat an outside grill and let the sauce come to room temperature.
    3. Sprinkle the chicken with lime juice and with salt and pepper, as you like. Place on grill and cook for about 6 minutes per side or until brown. Brush the sauce on the chicken throughout the grilling and top each with more sauce when serving.
