Ingredients:
1 (10 ounces) package Vigo yellow rice
3 cups boiling chicken broth
1 stick margarine or butter, soft
Chicken legs, thighs or breast
Salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste
Paprika (optional)
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350F degrees.
- Grease oblong dish.
- Mix rice and margarine or butter. Spread on bottom of greased dish.
- Add boiling water on top, then lay chicken parts on top. Season to taste with salt, pepper and garlic powder.
- Cover dish with foil and bake about 1 hour at 375 degrees.
- Uncover and sprinkle with paprika and brown for additional 20 minutes.

No, you don’t have to cook the rice first.
what seasoning do you put for the chicken? just salt ?
